Anyma, the solo project of Tale Of Us, is set to drop his second album, ‘Genesys Part II’, later this month.
Matteo Milleri, the mastermind behind Anyma, announced the forthcoming release of the follow-up to his solo debut LP, ‘Genesys’, which debuted in 2023. Taking to Instagram on March 11th, Milleri revealed details of the album, which is slated to feature a total of 21 tracks split into two parts.
The first half of the album comprises 10 brand-new original tracks, showcasing collaborations with artists such as Chris Avantgarde, Rebūke, Karin Park, Adam Sellouk, and Delilah Montagu. Notably, this section includes recent singles like ‘Pictures Of You’ and ‘Higher Power’, the latter featuring Argy.
On the flip side, the second half of ‘Genesys Part II’ will feature remixes of tracks from the first ‘Genesys’ album. Renowned artists such as Amelie Lens, Eric Prydz, Cassian, Adriatique, Daniel Avery, and more have contributed their unique reinterpretations. Of special note is Kobosil’s remix of Anyma’s collaboration with Grimes, titled ‘Welcome To The Jungle’.
Scheduled for release on March 29th via Afterlife Recordings, ‘Genesys Part II’ promises to deliver an eclectic blend of original tracks and reimagined classics.
Anyma’s creative endeavors extend beyond his upcoming album. Last August, he showcased his versatility by remixing Lana Del Rey’s single, ‘Say Yes To Heaven’.
Meanwhile, Anyma’s bandmate Carmine Conte, under his solo moniker MRAK, released the ‘Manifesto’ EP in July 2023, further showcasing the duo’s individual artistic prowess.
